The Children's Growth Foundation (CGF) is an independent, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has supported children with endocrine and growth disorders in the Buffalo/Niagara region, Canada and Pennsylvania since 1965.

Our mission is to promote comprehensive care for children with endocrine/growth issues by providing for the whole child; medical, psychological, educational and social needs must all be met for successful treatment. We know that children with chronic health problems can learn and be productive if those needs are addressed simultaneously.

One of the ways Children's Growth Foundation supports families is by providing them with as much education and information as possible.

In clinic, we provide the services of a psychologist who specializes in the field of endocrine disorders and specifically, the needs of children who have issues surrounding growth problems. We also provide the services of an educational/vocational counselor whose job is to help the children obtain appropriate summer camp placement, a summer job, prepare a resume and find funding for college.

CGF also provides opportunities to socialize and network with other families going through similar experiences. We strive to ensure that no child who is a patient of the Endocrine Clinic of WCHOB ever goes without essential care; to that end, if treatment is cost prohibitive, the Children's Growth Foundation will also provide families with needed medical supplies.

Our Annual Family Conference held in April provides a day-long, family-oriented event with activities for the children as the parents learn through a variety of workshops. Please contact us for more information.
